Archibat HR Asia is looking for a Sales /BD Manager for a North European Design Studio to join their Shanghai office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Sales (60%): 

§ Draft project proposals and negotiate contractual terms with potential clients. 

§ Search, identify and engage new client opportunities. 

§ Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals. 

§ Regularly report progress to country Executive Director and global sales and business development group. 

§ Maintain CRM resources. 

§ Translation of proposals and management communications from Chinese to English or English to Chinese as needed. 

 

Business development (25%): 

§ Manage country business development plan. 

§ Develop business development calendar programme. 

§ Attend and/or plan and execute business development activities, eg. Workshops, lectures, talks, networking events. 

§ Manage client and partner relationships by keeping close contact and frequent communication with clients and partners and resolving issues as they arise. 

§ Establish close relationships with industry associations, development zones and other resources instrumental for client lead growth. 

§ Work closely and maintain good relationship with the Danish Embassy and Danish Consulate General in China. 

 

Marketing (15%): 

§ Responsible for the development and update of Company Marketing Toolbox, eg. Catalogue, brochures, cards.

§ Manage company’s Chinese social media channels, eg. WeChat official account. 

§ Overlook SEO, Baidupedia and others. 

§ Ensure that  China website is regularly updated and consistent with global Company website. 

 

 

Profil recherché

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & SKILLS: 

§ Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Business, or related area; Advanced degree is a plus. Designer backgrounds shall also be considered. 

§ 2 to 5 years of prior relevant working experience in sales, business development and marketing positions in the service and/or consulting industry. Experience in the design industry is preferred but not required. 

§ Chinese native speaker and full English professional proficiency. 

§ Strong understanding of local business culture and client mentality, cultural nuances and negotiation tactics. 

§ Experience working in an international environment. 

§ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and high discretionary decision-making ability. 

§ Ability to multi-task and able to prioritize. 

§ Comfortable working collaboratively in a team and manage tasks independently. 

§ Excellent communication capabilities and interpersonal skills. 

§ Proactive, self-sufficient and problem-solver. 

§ Proficient in MS Office e.g. Word / Excel / PowerPoint. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus e.g. Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign.
