This is\nwhat two architects from Oslo did. Ureddplassen is also a memorial to 42 Norwegian\nsoldiers who died during the Second World War. Their submarine collided with a\nmissile sent by a German ship. It was almost half a century later when the wreck\nof this submarine was finally discovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"458\" src=\"https:\/\/archibat.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/ureddplassen-011721-1024x652-720x458.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10459\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archibat.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/ureddplassen-011721-1024x652-720x458.jpg 720w, https:\/\/archibat.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/ureddplassen-011721-1024x652-300x191.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archibat.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/ureddplassen-011721-1024x652-768x489.jpg 768w, https:\/\/archibat.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/ureddplassen-011721-1024x652.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, the terrace surrounding this wave-shaped toilet\noffers breathtaking views of the Norwegian Sea. In winter, it is not uncommon\nto see onlookers taking time to contemplate the sky to see the aurora borealis.\nThis public building underwent a renovation for the impressive sum of 1.6 million\neuros last year.
