Andry Morris, freshly graduate from the University of Design of South Wales, has indeed produced an original and successful CV. He not only created a Lego, based on his personal appearance, even equipping it with his work tools, but also carefully designed its packaging, so that the small toy looks like authentic, just coming out from the factory. All the information regarding his career and experiences are written on the back of the plastic packaging, while the whole box is wrapped in a brown package with the label \u201cUnwrap Your Newest Employee\u201d on the front.

Escape games, the latest craze of those fans of \u201cgeek games\u201d mixing thinking and riddles, have been a hit for a while. That\u2019s why L\u00e9a Thiebault, graphic designer and web marketing professional, has built a CV using their codes. To get access to the CV, the recruiter has to solve a round of riddles, find a code to open a padlock etc.
\nThis original CV is certainly clever, but will be effective only if the hiring manager is willing to play.

Just as a kind of biological impulse, people cannot help but love those little innocent games of chance like scratchcards, because people are always curious to know what\u2019s hidden behind that box. Thomas Belli had precisely the idea of creating a CV composed of three scratch cards. One contains a link to his web CV; the second one resembles the winning amounts page, but these are replaced by Thomas\u2019 qualities; the last one, finally, reveals his skills.

Then, he delivered a box of doughnuts to each of them, hiding his CV inside the box. Thanks to this smart method, he got ten interviews. Fortune helps the bold, if he\u2019s smart.

Since most of us belong to generations X or Y, we probably have all played the Crazy Doctor Game at least once. Recently, two advertising creatives have redesigned it to be used as a CV. The cards contain info about the two students, who are copywriter and art director, respectively. They spent around 40 hours working on it, but the result is both original and funny.<\/p>\n
On the web, there are many more examples, such as the Monopoly CV, the Action Man CV, even a CV that turns out to be a real p\u00e2t\u00e9\u2026 in other words, there\u2019s plenty of ideas. So, if you happen to have an original idea that needs a lot of work and time to be realized, just go through with it. However, the final result must be flawless, otherwise, it may result in a cheap effect, making your effort useless.<\/p>\n
Of course, these resumes are especially effective in creative commercial professions and startups.
