It\u2019s been a long time since most of us were children building tree house out of whatever we could find. Espen Survnevik has kept her childish soul by creating what we all dreamed of when we were kids: real tree houses perched in the trees.<\/p>\n

The Norwegian raised his tree houses to a height of 8 m in the Finnskogen forest in his native land. Wanting his tree houses to blend harmoniously into the landscape, the architect opted for a clean design and played with transparency.<\/p>\n

The project includes two identical tree houses, both perched high above the ground, whose angle and placement were determined by the sun to optimize the natural light in the house.<\/p>\n

With large glass facades, light floods the space and heats it at the same time to reduce energy consumption as much as possible. The materials used have been selected in order to be as ecological as possible to keep the project as environmentally responsible as possible.<\/p>\n

From this tree house, nicknamed the Pan Treetop Cabin, you can enjoy the sunset with your friends. If you wish to stay overnight, a double bed and four single beds are available. The tree houses are furnished with water and electricity, and a wood stove is available as well as underfloor heating.<\/p>\n
