{"id":13347,"date":"2020-08-25T14:00:43","date_gmt":"2020-08-25T12:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archibat.com\/blog\/?p=13347"},"modified":"2020-08-25T13:51:18","modified_gmt":"2020-08-25T11:51:18","slug":"urbanisme-post-pandemie-se-reapproprier-les-trottoirs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archibat.com\/blog\/urbanisme-post-pandemie-se-reapproprier-les-trottoirs\/","title":{"rendered":"Urbanisme post-pand\u00e9mie\u00a0: se r\u00e9approprier les trottoirs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ind\u00e9pendamment des r\u00e8gles de distanciation sociales en vigueur dans les diff\u00e9rents pays, il existe une probl\u00e9matique commune \u00e0 tous les citoyens&nbsp;: les trottoirs ne sont pas suffisamment larges pour que les pi\u00e9tons puissent appliquer correctement les r\u00e8gles sanitaires. \u00c0 Toronto, l\u2019entreprise d\u2019analyse Ratio City a cr\u00e9\u00e9 une carte montrant que plus des deux tiers des trottoirs de la ville faisaient moins de 2,5 m\u00e8tres de largeur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De plus, une enqu\u00eate men\u00e9e par l\u2019agence d\u2019architecture danoise Gehl, sur 68 pays, constate que plus d\u2019un quart des r\u00e9pondants trouvent les trottoirs trop encombr\u00e9s. En r\u00e9ponse, les \u00e9lus politiques de certaines des villes les plus peupl\u00e9es du monde ont \u00e9largi les trottoirs, pour que les passants puissent circuler en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9. \u00c0 Londres, le plan Streetspace du maire Sadiq Khan a permis d\u2019\u00e9tendre temporairement les trottoirs dans de nombreuses zones \u00e0 forte circulation. La m\u00eame mesure est mise en place \u00e0 Milan, \u00e0 Washington, \u00e0 Bogota, \u00e0 Toronto et dans des centaines d\u2019autres r\u00e9gions urbaines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette situation est \u00e9galement l\u2019occasion de repenser enti\u00e8rement l\u2019espace public. L\u2019\u00e9quipe de conception urbaine Foster + Partners soutient que \u00ab m\u00eame si certaines des mesures d\u2019urgence seront r\u00e9duites \u00e0 mesure que les courbes du virus vont chuter, d\u2019autres resteront en place dans un avenir pr\u00e9visible&nbsp;\u00bb. Par cons\u00e9quent, les designers estiment que \u00ab&nbsp;nous devons tirer parti de cette crise pour apporter des changements positifs dans les villes.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Du mobilier urbain pour tous<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tout d\u2019abord, il s\u2019agit d\u2019\u00e9valuer \u00e0 nouveau le r\u00f4le et la qualit\u00e9 des \u00e9quipements de rue, principalement le mobilier urbain. Le projet Inside Out, initi\u00e9 l\u2019an dernier par le designer parisien Robert Stadler, r\u00e9pondait \u00e0 une utilisation actuelle de l\u2019espace public. L\u2019installation se compose d\u2019une dizaine de bancs aux couleurs vives, formant une sorte de salon urbain en plein air dans l\u2019une des rues commer\u00e7antes les plus prestigieuses de Londres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Placottoir&nbsp;: rendre la rue aux pi\u00e9tons<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais les r\u00e9ponses les plus directes \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie viennent du cabinet d\u2019architecture Arup, qui a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une s\u00e9rie de \u00ab\u00a0parklets\u00a0\u00bb, autrement dit placottoirs (un prolongement du trottoir) dans le cadre du programme Liverpool Without Walls. Ce syst\u00e8me modulaire est constitu\u00e9 de si\u00e8ges hybrides associ\u00e9s \u00e0 des petites cloisons s\u00e9paratives en Perspex et plantations, qui permettent de d\u00e9finir des espaces de repos ou de restauration le long de certaines rues commerciales fr\u00e9quent\u00e9es. \u00ab\u00a0Nous esp\u00e9rons que ces placottoirs feront partie int\u00e9grante du tissu urbain et qu\u2019ils continueront \u00e0 offrir des avantages \u00e0 long terme, pour que les pi\u00e9tons puissent se r\u00e9approprier ces espaces\u00a0\u00bb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 un repr\u00e9sentant d\u2019Arup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"347\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/archibat.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/8561BFF3-944B-443D-8742-578C3ABCC10B-347x480.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13366\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archibat.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/8561BFF3-944B-443D-8742-578C3ABCC10B-347x480.jpeg 347w, https:\/\/archibat.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/8561BFF3-944B-443D-8742-578C3ABCC10B-217x300.jpeg 217w, https:\/\/archibat.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/8561BFF3-944B-443D-8742-578C3ABCC10B.jpeg 701w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 347px) 100vw, 347px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019un des principaux objectifs de ce concept de parklet est d\u2019aider les commerces, bars, restaurants, \u00e0 accueillir les passants sur de plus grands espaces ext\u00e9rieurs. Parall\u00e8lement aux projets d\u2019\u00e9largissement de la chauss\u00e9e, de nombreuses municipalit\u00e9s ont assoupli les lois pour permettre aux bars et aux restaurants d\u2019occuper les trottoirs ou une partie de la chauss\u00e9e. La premi\u00e8re ville \u00e0 passer \u00e0 l\u2019action a \u00e9t\u00e9 la capitale lithuanienne Vilnius qui a ouvert 18 espaces publics en plein air pour les caf\u00e9s et restaurants. L\u2019architecte David Rockwell reconna\u00eet qu\u2019il est difficile pour les restaurants de s\u2019\u00e9tendre dans les rues de la ville, qui sont principalement con\u00e7ues pour les voitures. Il fallait alors trouver une solution \u00e0 la fois pratique et accueillante pour les clients. Il a donc cr\u00e9\u00e9 un plan fond\u00e9 sur un ensemble de pi\u00e8ces pouvant \u00eatre adapt\u00e9es \u00e0 une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de sc\u00e9narios, aussi bien fonctionnels qu\u2019esth\u00e9tiques (box pour manger, sanitaires, jardini\u00e8res, unit\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9clairage\u2026)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;Nous voulions utiliser des conceptions et des mat\u00e9riaux pouvant \u00eatre adapt\u00e9s pour refl\u00e9ter la diversit\u00e9 des paysages de la ville&nbsp;\u00bb d\u00e9clare l\u2019architecte. \u00ab&nbsp;Pour le moment, il n\u2019existe pas de solution simple aux d\u00e9fis auxquels font face les restaurants ici.
