Leur volume a pour ordre de grandeur le terabyte. \u00a0Ce vaste ensemble de donn\u00e9es brutes extr\u00eamement vari\u00e9es semi-structur\u00e9es ou non structur\u00e9es peut \u00eatre accessibles en temps r\u00e9el ou semi-r\u00e9el. Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 par le marketing dans un premier temps, le big data commence \u00e0 appara\u00eetre dans d\u2019autres domaines, dont les ressources humaines.<\/p>\n<h2>Mieux appr\u00e9hender le profil des candidats et pr\u00e9dire leurs performances<\/h2>\n<p>Des entreprises ont mis en place des jeux et des tests qu\u2019elles font passer aux candidats et qui leurs permettent de mieux cerner la personnalit\u00e9 de ceux-ci. La quantit\u00e9 d\u2019information g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9e par ces tests (temps d\u2019h\u00e9sitation, ordre des actions choisies etc.) permet, apr\u00e8s une analyse par des algorithmes, de mettre en avant certains traits caract\u00e9ristiques du candidat.<\/p>\n<p>Une autre application du big data est l\u2019\u00e9tude de la corr\u00e9lation entre certaines r\u00e9ponses dans les tests de personnalit\u00e9 et la performance dans un secteur donn\u00e9. Cela permettrait aux entreprises de mieux cibler les profils recherch\u00e9s et donc d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de leur recrutement. La pr\u00e9cision des filtres \u00e9tablis en amont r\u00e9duirait significativement les temps pass\u00e9s en entretiens.<\/p>\n<h2>Trouver la perle rare, surtout dans les secteurs en p\u00e9nurie de candidats<\/h2>\n<p>Des sites tels que Linkedin proposent des profils de candidats directement aux recruteurs en se basant sur leurs actions, en traquant par exemple les autres profils qu\u2019ils ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 consult\u00e9s. Ils proposent \u00e9galement des postes aux candidats en fonction de leurs parcours, centres d&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat, groupes de discussion&#8230;. Toutefois, le d\u00e9veloppement exponentiel du big data ne remplacera pas la fonction du recruteur. Parce que l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une multiplicit\u00e9 de candidats ne suffit pas \u00e0 garantir la pertinence d&rsquo;un recrutement, la valeur ajout\u00e9e du recruteur n&rsquo;est pas seulement de trouver les informations mais de leur donner du sens.
