Ces statistiques nous montrent que l\u2019instinct dans le recrutement est encore bien pr\u00e9sent et que les candidats sont jug\u00e9s apr\u00e8s avoir partag\u00e9 qu\u2019un petit pourcentage de leurs comp\u00e9tences. Cependant, les recruteurs peuvent commettre des erreurs et celles-ci sont tr\u00e8s souvent dues \u00e0 des<strong>&nbsp;biais cognitifs<\/strong>. Il est important d\u2019en \u00eatre averti et de trouver comment lutter contre ces biais afin d\u2019\u00eatre le plus impartial possible lors d\u2019un entretien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Les biais cognitifs, qu\u2019est-ce que c\u2019est ?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le terme \u201cbiais cognitif\u201d vient de deux psychologues am\u00e9ricains, Amos&nbsp;Tversky&nbsp;et Daniel Kahneman, qui ont nomm\u00e9 ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne en 1970. Le biais cognitif est&nbsp;<strong>un m\u00e9canisme de pens\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019origine d\u2019une alt\u00e9ration du jugement<\/strong>. Les sp\u00e9cialistes s\u2019accordent \u00e0 dire que ces biais peuvent \u00eatre \u00e0 l\u2019origine de d\u00e9cisions fauss\u00e9es puisque notre cerveau aurait tendance \u00e0 prendre des raccourcis. Le cerveau humain est en effet une machine sophistiqu\u00e9e, mais il a tendance \u00e0&nbsp;<strong>simplifier la prise d\u2019information<\/strong> au maximum. Ces situations arrivent souvent lorsque le cerveau a beaucoup de donn\u00e9es \u00e0 traiter, notamment lors d&rsquo;un entretien de recrutement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Identifier les biais cognitifs les plus courants<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Certains biais cognitifs sont plus courants et s&rsquo;observent fr\u00e9quemment dans les situations de recrutement :&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>L\u2019effet de halo :<\/strong>&nbsp;C\u2019est le plus courant dans une situation d\u2019entretien d\u2019embauche. Il arrive lorsqu\u2019un seul&nbsp;<strong>trait favorable<\/strong>&nbsp;du candidat influence l\u2019ensemble de l\u2019\u00e9valuation du recruteur. Par exemple, on assumera qu\u2019une personne avec un physique avantageux sera aussi intelligente et sympathique.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>L\u2019effet de corne, appel\u00e9 aussi l\u2019effet de halo invers\u00e9<\/strong>&nbsp;: C\u2019est exactement l\u2019inverse de l\u2019effet de halo. Dans ce cas-l\u00e0, un&nbsp;<strong>seul trait d\u00e9favorable<\/strong>&nbsp;influencera l\u2019ensemble de l\u2019\u00e9valuation. Le recruteur pense alors que les caract\u00e9ristiques \u201cind\u00e9sirables\u201d sont toutes li\u00e9es et qu\u2019elles d\u00e9coulent les unes des autres.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Le biais de confirmation&nbsp;<\/strong>: Le recruteur accorde&nbsp;<strong>plus d\u2019importance aux informations qui confirment sa propre opinion<\/strong>&nbsp;sur le candidat, tout en pr\u00eatant moins attention aux informations qui la contredisent. Le cerveau a en effet tendance \u00e0 prioriser les informations qui vont avec notre premi\u00e8re impression.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Le biais de similarit\u00e9&nbsp;<\/strong>: \u00c9motionnellement, le recruteur r\u00e9agit plus favorablement \u00e0 un candidat qui&nbsp;<strong>pr\u00e9sente des similarit\u00e9s avec lui<\/strong>. Par exemple, \u00eatre du m\u00eame sexe, avoir \u00e9tudi\u00e9 dans la m\u00eame \u00e9cole, avoir habit\u00e9 dans la m\u00eame ville ou avoir le m\u00eame pays d\u2019origine\u2026&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Comment lutter contre ces biais ?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Afin de r\u00e9aliser un recrutement efficace, il est important de savoir comment se pr\u00e9munir de ces biais cognitifs. Voici diff\u00e9rentes strat\u00e9gies que l\u2019on peut mettre en place :&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conna\u00eetre les biais cognitifs&nbsp;<\/strong>: Le fait de savoir comment le cerveau prend des d\u00e9cisions et de&nbsp;<strong>conna\u00eetre les diff\u00e9rents biais cognitifs<\/strong>&nbsp;est un atout majeur. Il ne sera pas possible de les \u00e9radiquer compl\u00e8tement mais au moins&nbsp;<strong>de les minimiser<\/strong>&nbsp;en mettant en place des \u00e9tapes et des crit\u00e8res clairs pour \u00e9valuer les candidats de fa\u00e7on la plus objective possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La strat\u00e9gie \u201cattendre et r\u00e9essayer\u201d&nbsp;<\/strong>: Cette m\u00e9thode consiste \u00e0&nbsp;<strong>contr\u00f4ler syst\u00e9matiquement ses premi\u00e8res impressions<\/strong>&nbsp;et ne pas rester bloqu\u00e9 sur celles-ci.
