ArchiBat HR Asia is looking for a Technical Designer for a well-known experience consulting company for their Space Team in their Shanghai office. The Space Team integrates the power of service design, brand design, space design, and digital design through innovative design methods. The candidate will work closely with team of interior designers and UX specialists. Please check the following requirements:
Your Role
As a technical designer, it’s your job to lead a team of designers to deliver unparalleled interior projects. Leverage your industry experience and technical acumen to drive client projects from concept through build.
What You Will Do
•Manage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV…
•Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials.
•Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges.
•Maintain project manual and specifications.
•Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI’s during construction.
Required profile
Your Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school.
•5+ years of interior design experience.
•Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, 3dMax, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS Office.
•Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
