Archibat HR Asia is looking for a Senior Creative Technologist for a French Luxury Jewelry Maison：
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Lab Lead and graphic/industrial design team on provocative, surprising, creative, and effective projects across the Brand ecosystem.
- Actively provide ideas to different departments in Brand China organization to optimize the way of working via new technologies and ensure the implementation on a project basis.
- Manage the requests from the customer or from an internal department and propose technical and economic changes in view of improving customer experience and efficiency
- Stewardship of Lab’s techniques and P.O.V. regarding technology and prototyping methods
- Evaluate and test technical feasibility of new concepts; steer project development toward efficient implementation post-design
- Create (and iterate) accurate, manufactural mockups and fast prototypes
- Actively monitor best practices & the tooling landscape to keep the Lab facilities up to date
- Leverage appropriate external resources in order to complement the Lab’s capacity & capabilities
Internal contacts:
Liaise with Retail, Marketing, Communication, Merchandising, CRM, PR, High Jewellery, Logistics, SDP&VM and other related teams to implement different innovative projects
Required profile
Qualifications:
• Bachelor or advanced degree in engineering, digital media arts, tangible interactions, or related field. Additional background in arts/design preferred.
• 5+ years of technical expertise in physical prototyping, experience design and manufacturing. Project management experience preferred.
• Expertise in tools such as 3D printing/rapid prototyping, augmented reality, virtual reality, physical computing / microcontroller platforms (Raspberry Pi, Arduino etc), sensor-based interactivity. 3D solid/surface modeling experience preferred.
• Expertise in creation of production documentation including engineering specifications, bills of material, measured drawings
• Capable of collaboration with individuals from diverse profiles
• Lean work attitude, multitasker in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Capable of expressing Brand soul & values in any tangle concept
• Creative and craftsman approach: strong DIY mentality & capability
• Able to recognize opportunities for unusual and nontraditional solutions to old problems
• Ability to ensure operational management of the activity and resources of several fields
• Strong Interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
