Job description
Archibat HR Asia is looking for Deputy Head of Design for a famous entertainment, hospitality and nightlife interior design company (client side). Position is located in Beijing. Please check the following requirements:
Scope of work:
– Under the Design Leadership of DD, to oversee the development and smooth delivery of all the lifestyle brands which will include:
– Coordinate/receive design direction/instruction from Head of Design Department
– Coordinate/Collaborate with Deputy Head Interior Design to maintain and execute brand DNA
– Manage the Team Leaders and General Team to fulfil their tasks in a timely and efficient way whilst upholding High Design Standards Test
– Liaise with Project Team to ensure design is accurately conveyed during design documentation stage and executed on site during construction stage
– Ensure the team is able to maintain resourcefulness and familiarity with materials, suppliers and core construction techniques
– Oversee and be responsible for Design Testing & Documentation in 2D CAD and 3D sketch up / 3D Max
– Overseeing and responsible for Design presentations both to internal team and external Franchisees and Partners
– Regional Travel for site inspections or supplier visits
Required profile
Requirements:
a. Bilingual is a plus but not a requirement (both written and spoken proficient English and Mandarin)
b. Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design concept, design, documentation and construction/site supervision, with extra emphasis on documentation & construction/site supervision phases.
c. Additional Exposure to Graphic / UX / UI design is a bonus
d. Able to travel frequently regionally
e. Prior Experience managing small teams a must
f. Clear communicator
g. Rigorous and Detail oriented.
h. Understanding and interest in nightlife and entertainment lifestyle a bonus.
