Archibat HR Asia is an Architectural Design Manager for an American Engineering background company, to join their Architectural department in their Shanghai office. They focus public, industrial, and office type projects.
Required profile
The DM manages, organizes and coordinates project teams and team assignments to complete architectural projects, is responsible for ensuring that design documents are in line with design intent, and is responsible for project schedules and budgets. He/she provides guidance to the team. The DM coordinates activity and communication between clients and project team both in China and US, and is proficient at translating clients’ functional and spatial requirements into feasible design solutions.
Experience / Skills:
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture
• min. 10 years’ experience preferred
• Ability to lead design through all aspects of its execution
• Experience coordinating projects
• Management of project schedules
• Passion for mentoring younger design talent
• Ability to work with AutoCAD, sketchup, indesign, photoshop, microsoft office
• Good English communication skill
• Travel may be required
