Absolute Linkers is looking for a Customer Service Manager for a US carpet brand,

Work Location: Jiangsu Taicang

Job Objectives: 

The role is responsible for the direction and management of the customer service function.  Customer Service is responsible for the pre and post order processes meeting their volumes, quality and scheduling requirements.  The over-riding goal of the role is to maximise customer service levels attainable under normal commercial circumstances in a market where service is critical.  Key to success in this role is the ability to communicate plan, prioritise, analyse information and support decision making within a customer focused fast paced environment.  Customer Service requires interfacing with internal clients being sales, marketing, quality, purchasing planning, production & distribution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the team to conduct customer service activities of whole product portfolio covering Carpet tile, LVT and Rubber Flooring 

2. Team achieves overall objective, maximise customer satisfaction through best practice in customer service.

3. Establish and maintain relationships with people at all levels; put others at ease promotes harmony and consensus through diplomatic handling of disagreements and potential conflict.

4. Seeks all relevant information for problem solving and decision making; consults widely, probes the facts, analyses issues from different perspectives.

5. Breaks problems down in to their constituent parts, differentiates key elements from the irrelevant or trivial; makes accurate use of logic and draws sound inferences from information available.

6. Produces detailed plans in which objectives are clearly defined and action steps for achieving them are clearly specified.

7. As a contact widow of supply chain, to provide a prompt, efficient service to clients; goes out of way to ensure that client needs are met.

 

Key Performance Indicator:

1. Continuous reduction in customer complaints via improved response and driving internal solutions

2. CS KPI’s are met or exceeded.

3. CCR targets met

4. Improved Customer surveys

5. Error rates on orders

6. Customer Accommodations

7. Measured service levels within offer

 

 

 

Required profile

1. Strong computer skills

2. A high level of written and oral communication skills

3. Understanding of Cross Functional teams and relationships particularly Supply Chain, Production and Sales  

4. Formal qualifications in a relevant discipline (Admin/Sales/Mkting/Bus.)

5. Understanding of cross functional teams and relationships, particularly Supply Chain/Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing

6. Minimum of 7 years experience in a similar management/supervisory role

7. Experienced in a high paced, fast moving customer focused environment

8. Experience working with in ERP system

9. Experience within a manufacturing environment

10. Experience in export/import process and documentation
