Archibat HR Asia is currently looking for a Senior Design Manager for an International Retail Outlet Development Group to be based in their Shanghai branch.
Responsibilities:
– Manage the design consultants in design direction, reviews and value engineering.
– Provide design directions for architecture, space planning, interior design, landscape, and fit out, etc.
– Lead design in a holistic process-oriented approach based on a contemporary innovative methodology from the vision to build works; Evaluate, select and apply standard architecture design techniques, procedures and criteria.
– Play a key role in internal coordination with top management to ensure of the delivery.
– Communicate with other functions on all design progress.
– Integrate all sensible end user request and requirement into the final outcome.
– Design presentation to senior management and stake holders.
– Manage the drawing, design feedbacks, etc., to make sure of the design quality.
Profil recherché
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree or above in Architecture or related majors.
– At least 10 years’ working experience in conceptual design, schematic design, design development and construction design for the projects like mix-used, hospitality development, tourist related facilities, or retail and public buildings, proven experience in working with international investors is highly preferred.
– 2-3 full projects cycle experience, including concept forming, function layout and facade construction, etc.
– Proficient in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Sketchup, PKPM, Photoshop, InDesign, etc. and management software such as Microsoft Office and Project, Bluebeam, Acrobat, etc.
– Analytical capability to identify what are the sensible end user request for integration.
– Logical thinking in face of disagreement and strong determination to strive for alignment
– Strong organizational and management skills.
– Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
– Good writing and oral communication skills both in English and Mandarin.
