There are many types of personality test based on a wide range of criteria, from colours and numbers, to life choices and so on. In Southeast Asia, and particularly in Japan and Korea, the most popular personality test is based on blood type! Belief in this system is so strong that a blood test is sometimes even carried out when recruiting someone for a job or as part of the university admission process, despite this being strictly against the law.
In these countries, Type A individuals are believed to be honest, sensitive, creative and reserved, but also fussy, stubborn and tense. Type B individuals are active and creative, but have a tendency to be selfish and fickle. Type AB individuals are generally in control and adaptable, although they can be rather critical and indecisive. Finally, Type O individuals are self-assured and optimistic, as well as somewhat cold and sceptical.
