Archibat Asia is looking for a Program Director for a top-tier global construction and programme management consultancy in Shanghai. The firm delivers full-lifecycle services including programme management, project delivery, cost consultancy, procurement, sustainability & net-zero advisory, and client seconded portfolio oversight. It serves international corporates, financial institutions, governments and asset owners, managing mixed portfolios of offices, retail spaces, data centres and MEP renovation projects.

Descriptif du poste

  1. Deliver the client’s strategic objectives; serve as the sole stakeholder contact for progress, risks and escalations. Review team-prepared work orders, coordinate client procurement, purchase orders, invoicing and internal profitability tracking.
  2. Enforce client standards covering governance, schedules, cost, scope change, HSE, risk and sustainability. Lead stage-gate approvals, ensure accurate monthly/quarterly data reporting, and manage sequencing for all sub-projects and long-term capital pipelines.
  3. Drive strategic, transparent cross-workstream procurement to unlock volume cost savings. Manage Construction Delivery Partners (CDPs), resolve underperformance, lead value engineering, and escalate unresolved issues to regional leadership with solutions.
  4. Partner with commercial and PMO teams to set financial baselines and benchmark project performance. Roll out local sustainability roadmaps to hit client net-zero carbon targets, track and report green delivery progress. Complete monthly/quarterly KPI reviews for internal delivery teams and suppliers; implement corrective actions and monitor CDP HSE compliance & incident closure.
  5. Forecast team resource demand to match project pipelines. Manage internal/external stakeholders, nurture long-term client and industry partnerships, and share project learnings across internal and client PMOs. Foster an inclusive, high-performance team culture.

Profil recherché

  1. Bachelor’s degree in construction, project management, engineering or equivalent; PMI, MSP, RICS, CIOB, HKIS or equivalent professional qualifications preferred.
  2. Minimum 10 years construction, project and programme management experience.
  3. Proven track record managing full-cycle fit-out, renovation and MEP projects (electrical, drainage, fire, BMS, security, mechanical plant) with statutory approval expertise.
  4. Prior experience serving international clients, financial institutions a strong plus.
  5. Excellent written & verbal English communication and presentation capabilities.
  6. Agile, deadline-driven team player proficient in Microsoft Project, Office, SharePoint and Teams.
