Job description
This is a position for someone who brings both depth and drive—someone who has taken residential and hospitality projects from early creative exploration through to well-resolved design packages. You’ll work alongside senior leadership to help define spatial narratives and material languages, contributing to the company’s signature approach on internationally recognised projects.
Responsibilities:
– Lead the design progression of interior projects, carrying them from initial concept through schematic development and into detailed design phases.
– Play a key role in shaping completed residential and hospitality environments, ensuring design clarity and quality are carried through from early vision to final documentation.
– Develop refine space layouts, material stories, construction details, and FF&E selections with a high level of care and precision.
– Prepare compelling presentation materials, drawings, and 3D models using SketchUp, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Suite.
– Present ideas clearly and confidently in internal reviews and client design meetings.
– Work closely with architecture and design colleagues to ensure interiors are fully integrated with broader project goals.
Required profile
– A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
– At least 8 years of relevant professional experience, with a portfolio that includes built residential and hospitality work.
– Demonstrated ability to guide projects through concept, schematic, and design development stages.
– A refined eye for composition, proportion, materiality, and craft—backed by strong design intuition.
– Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite; Revit skills are a plus.
– Strong visual storytelling ability and the confidence to communicate your thinking effectively.
– A self-directed, detail-conscious mindset, with a collaborative spirit that thrives in a studio setting.
