Job description
Responsibilities:
– Under the leadership of the Managing Director, progressively assume responsibility for the department’s profitability and operations.
– Serve as the architectural discipline lead and project lead, responsible for team formation, and for managing design quality, schedule, and profitability.
– Lead the design team and establish a highly efficient working mechanism; regularly review, coach, track, and refine project progress and quality. Responsible for employee performance evaluations. Develop the next tier of elite cadres.
– Responsible for communicating with and reporting to leadership, implementing leadership’s opinions and directives, and being honest without concealment.
– Responsible for close communication with clients, obtaining client work confirmation letters, and promptly advancing project fee collection.
– Capable of managing multiple projects at any given time while ensuring their quality.
– Represent the company and maintain the company’s brand image and quality. Represent employees and express constructive opinions.
Required profile
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree or above in Architecture.
– 15+ years of relevant architectural experience; possession of a Class 1 Registered Architect qualification is preferred.
– Proficient in the processes and regulations related to architectural design project approval.
– Experience spanning from schematic design through construction drawings.
– Proficiency in Revit, Adobe InDesign, AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, Office, and other work software.
– Teamwork and dedication, excellent communication and coordination skills, cohesiveness, and leadership.
– Able to work under pressure; serious and responsible, dedicated, steadfast, willing to take responsibility, fair, and passionate about the architectural design industry.
– Management capabilities in work assignment, quality review, employee leadership, and performance evaluation.
– Able to follow leadership directives, understand leadership’s intent and purpose, and possess implementation capability. Able to offer constructive opinions on employee management and company policies. Able to earn the trust and goodwill of clients and LDI (Local Design Institute).
– Strong communication skills.
– Mature and steady, capable of working independently, with strong team leadership ability. Able to lead by example and guide the team with high efficiency.
– Excellent English and Chinese communication and written skills.
