Archibat HR Asia is looking for a Home & Furniture Designer for a French Luxury Furniture Brand.
Key Responsibilities:
– Under artistic direction, independently undertake design process, from research, conception, development to realization.
– Scope of work: Home object and furniture
– Co-operate with supplier for prototyping, advice for color, material, know-how and project follow up
– Closely collaborate with production department for product development
Required profile
Requirements & Capabilities:
– At least 3 years of experience of home object, ornament, gift and furniture designs
– Talented in design conception and solution
– Understand and respect Chinese culture, lifestyle and philosophy
– Passionate about craftsmanship and innovation
– Excellent aesthetic sense in terms of form, color and material on international level
– Plenty of skill of realizing design and effectively proposing on-site solution
– Plenty of knowledge of material, technique, structure and know-how (wood, bamboo, porcelain, metal, glass etc.）
– Extremely sensitive about quality
– Plenty of resource knowledge in terms of sub-supplier database, material sourcing
– Professional computer skill of drawing and presentation
(Preferable if the candidate has accumulated know-how of crafts)
– Excellent skill of communication and expression
– Enthusiastic for crafts and respect collaborators, such as craftspeople
– Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic about design and project realization
– Extremely responsible for the committed task
– Professional time management and process control in time frame
– Pleased to assist team member and positive at teamwork
– Fast self-learning
– Professional in spoken and written Chinese and English
