Archibat HR Asia is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer for a global leader brand in connected car technology, lifestyle audio innovations, design and analytics.
Position Summary:
We are looking for an adventurous, passionate, and accomplished individual with world class design sensibility to lead our graphic design team that is responsible for crafting brand differentiation through design. The Packaging Design Manager will act as the overall design champion and conscience for the visual articulation of our brands. This individual will build upon Company’s dynamic and authentic brands, ensuring creativity and consistency across consumer touchpoints globally. With strategic vision and the desire to lead and nurture talent, the ideal candidate will play a key role in building and mentoring a creative team in Company Design center. This individual will build a truly world class team delivering strategic solutions in a fast paced environment of growth and innovation. The Graphic Design Manager will possess an exceptional voice to execute against their vision within the context of our globally recognized brands.
Extensive experience in print, paired with deep understanding of branding is essential. They will take a collaborative approach to partnering internally with Marketing and key stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Move fast, be the voice of design, make critical decisions, and take ownership. Continually push for change.
- Lead the creative vision and design aesthetic for graphics across consumer touch points.
- Conceptualize and execute graphic design concepts using standard industry computer graphics software for our consumer products and retail touch points.
- Build and inspire a world-class creative team to produce thought provoking design.
- Communicate and pitch clear ideas and creative concepts to senior leadership.
- Strive for innovation by actively seeking out new design trends, experiences and technology.
- Mentor, lead and inspire creative vision for designers.
- Continually evaluate and monitor Company’s branding in order to guide its evolution.
- You will play an active role in our Design Team and be part of an eclectic group of great designers in an international environment.
- Mentor other Industrial Designers, junior and interns.
Required profile
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of dynamic experience in the field of Graphic design and art direction with an impressive portfolio to prove it.
- Knowledge of design management and leadership experience preferred.
- Experience building successful teams, product, experiences and brands. Extensive knowledge and understanding of all phases of the design process from trend research and design strategy to concept development and printing execution.
- Deep knowledge of relevant software, tools, materials and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent 2D and experience in the Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Proven success working with typography, logo design, photo direction and color printing processes
- Experience in packaging industry and structural development.
- Must be detail oriented and have the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication and presentation skills.
- Highly driven and proactive self-starter – taking on a task without much context and driving it through to the end.
- The ability to work seamlessly with leaders across functions.
- Ability to multi-task many projects and products at once.
- Bachelor’s degree or Masters Degree in Graphic design, fine arts, media or equivalent/experience.
- Lives, breaths, and loves design.
- Passionate about all things music related.
- An Outgoing character with an excellent sense of humor.
