Archibat HR Asia is seeking a design technology specialist for one global international design firm to join their Shanghai Office.
BIM Responsibilities:
1. Provide BIM support across multiple projects, office locations and project sites.
2. Perform post-training, project shadowing to foster improved staff knowledge and adoption.
3. Create and vet staff submitted BIM content and templates for firm-wide libraries/resources.
4. As needed, participate in Project BIM meetings to provide guidance to BIM Leads.
5. Assist in early decision making on project setup based on contractual or collaboration needs.
6. Regularly review models to ensure adherence with company and project standards.
7. Support Project BIM Leads and Teams in troubleshooting problematic files/workflows.
Required profile
Experience:
1. 5+ years design/production/support experience with: AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, 3D Max Design, SketchUp, Rhino and supporting tools incl.
2. Familiarity with Autodesk Revit API & Dynamo, as well as Grasshopper for Rhino, are pluses.
3. Familiarity with use of Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality tools and platforms, a plus.
4. 3 of 5+ years of experience as a Project BIM Lead providing direct CAD/BIM support to project teams, involving team/project guidance and solutions development and/or as a full-time BIM/Revit Support Specialist at an office, region or firm wide level.
