Archibat Asia is now looking for a Senior Interior Designer for a global Design office in Foshan
Location: Foshan, Guangdong
Responsibilities
– Project manage from pre-award phase, concept, materials, contractors and suppliers through to completed approved instillation & styling; accountable and responsible for setting, updating and keeping project timelines and flagging potential delays to stakeholders
– Intake project objectives and guidance from project principals
Concept & schematic phase:
– Following brief by client and project principals produce design schemes to the design team
– Develop and improve mud maps; & simple project floor plans & elevations
– Produce sophisticated and on brand material and fabric palettes
– Create preliminary drawings with compete dimensional data for engineering or manufacturing purposes and review for accuracy, completeness and conformance to drafting, applicable design, component weights and system standards
Required profile
Essential skills
– Qualified Architect & Interior Architect, preferably Masters
– 8-10 years’ project management experience with increasing responsibility, global experience preferred
– 5+ years related drafting experience
– Support on the delivery of the annual business plan
– Ability to lead a project team from pitch to delivery
– Capability of own a project from initial design stages through to its completion
– Organized, self-motivated and team player
– Developed and tracked budgets previously
– Effective decision-making skills
– Keep and maintain customer’s loyalty and establish strong and lasting customer relationships
– Proven record of excellent communication skills; organization and prioritization skills
– Outstanding written and spoken English & Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
– Competent in the use of 3D modeling software
– Strong software skills in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Vector Works, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, 3D Max and Microsoft Office
– Ability to demonstrate previous design and project management success
– Site experience required, working with contractors, co-ordinating works on site
